First published in 1974, Birds of New State has been out of print for somw time. This 1985 corrected reprint satisfies the great demand for a reissue of the book. A supplement to the original book, piblished in 1976 by the Federation of New Yotk State Bird Clubs, is reprinted here as well. John Bull presents a detailed account of avian distribution and population, describing shifts and trends among both breeding and nonbreeding birds during the period 1914-1974.
